Chronomancer - Save System

I used blueprints to create a save system that saves all variables associated with the player’s progress to a file and the opacity mask for the areas of the map revealed as an image. The player can save their progress by interacting with clocks and load it by selecting “Continue” from the main menu or “Restart Last Save” from the pause menu. Starting a new game while save data exists also overwrites that data.


This improved my blueprint skills as I had not created a save system in Unreal before. I have created a save system before however that was in Unity and only saved high scores.
