Chronomancer - Introduction/Enemies

I am currently working on a metroidvania game called Chronomancer in Unreal Engine 4 for my final university project. As I move from pre-production into the production phase, I will be making blog posts here like this one when I add something significant or learn a new skill.

Recently I added the first enemy to the game, the heavy enemy. It patrols around, follows the player when it sees them, attacks the player when they're close enough to attack, and explodes when killed dealing damage if the player is within range. I did this using a behaviour tree which was new to me since I haven't done much with AI before. This will help to diversify my portfolio.
