DESCRIPTION
Hero Adrift is a narrative driven adventure game where the player must go on a jouney to save an archipelago from a threat rising from the depths of the ocean. Travel between different islands, meet new characters, and discover their stories as you help them on your way to defeat the impending doom.
I took on many design roles during this project as I was one of three people to develop it over a few weeks for a university project. My contributions include:
-Combat system and enemies
-Island travel system
-UI design for in-game HUD and island travel system
-Anchor mechanic
-Callimusa Island and Isle of the Foretold
-Narrative
-Level design
-Dialogue writing
-Quest design
